X-mass - Environmental Friendly wrapping
For few years i am wrapping my X-mass gifts to Newspaper paper. It looks different from all the obvious gifts and if you have bit of time you can use your creativity to make a nice bands from the Newspaper strips :)
My friends and family always appreciate this and nobody was ever disappointed that the gift was not wrapped to nice shiny glossy X-mass paper ;-)

You can do this for
You can do this for Birthdays and other gifts too, of course.
There are many other things around that you can use as well as/instead of newspaper, depending on what you have around. Old wrapping paper can be re-used, decorated, painted or printed. Also you can make your own recycled paper by shredding and soaking used paper- it's easy and fun and looks beautiful!

GREAT IDEA! Photo looks wicked, I'd love ot get a gify wrapped like that! I recently bought a wedding gift when I was in Melbourne and they wrapped it in the Islamic Times and put some colored twine around it, once again a great effect and pretty sustainable. So try and get old copies of newspapaers in different languages, adds to the mystery of whats inside!

I am going to do all my presents that way. I've got lots of bits and pieces of pretty things I've saved from presents we've received, so will try and get creative in making our presents look good. Something to get the kids into the spirit of the season.
