Use Office Technology
PLEDGE: Use Office Technology
Most office/workplace environments have an abundance of environmentally friendly technology that is underutilised.
If we make an effort to understand and utilize this technology (email, skype, teleconference, remote access, electronic file storage, etc) that is already available we can greatly cut down on the use of paper and transport.

email not snail mail
Initiatives I am trying to implement are to convince everyone to use email rather than snail mail - DUPLEX on printer so using both sides of the page when we do print and implementing an electronic file system.
I'm going to start scanning all received letters to email and contacting those letter senders and asking them to email us in the future. Also looking at what accounts we can pay/get statements on-line rather than getting it snail mailed.

Snail mail?
funny.. yeah i find it sad that native tribes homes are bein shared with logging companies.. they're given gps systems to mark sacred trees and stuff though :|
staplers and hole punches don't emit any gassy fuel waste =D
It's so easy!
That's a great idea.
I'm in Auckland and I've just been on a teleconference with someone in Wellington. I teleconference becuase it's quicker and cheaper than travelling, but it had slipped my mind that it's climate-friendly too.
It just goes to show that there are a lot of climate-friendly new technologies available, which have a lot of different benefits for us.
