Instead of dropping your towel in the washing basket after each shower hang it up and use it a few more times. Using a towel everyday wastes copious amounts of water needed to wash them.

Oh yea, absolutely no need to wash after each use. I grew up with a washing basket in the bathroom, where you just chucked in your towel after every shower. That's extremely disturbing in a house of 5 people. Now I'm out of home I use about 2 towels a week. One of those for hair, which only needs a wash a couple times a week. Even then, I'll squeeze an extra hair wash in. But if you're clean your clean, I really don't see anything wrong with that.
