Where can I find them- are they available at normal supermarkets?

It might cost even less to do them all soonest. These
5 for $10 offers keep happening.

Cheap Energy Saving lightbulbs

Some of these 5 for $10 bulbs are not very good quality as I have found out (they don't last very long at all). And according to reports, they contain small levels of mercury so avoid breaking them.

5 for $10 bulbs

They are usually sponsored name brands. I've had one fail straight away, the rest good. However, if CFLs are turned off again in less than 6 minutes say their life time is no more than tungsten bulbs. This would apply in the toilet, bathroom, passage, porch mainly. Nevertheless they are still worth using.

Energy Light Bulbs

I started doing this at least four years ago - two still to replace and none of the energy ones have blown as yet.
