So much more sociable and fun and the same amount of cooking energy that would go into cooking for 1 household caters for 2! Just don't forget to reciprocate!

Invite your neighbours to eat at your place, to encourage a greater community - once your in [insert evil laugh] you can then offer to get groceries together, carpool for kindy/school/work, swap vegies/fruit/meat.

After being the orgnisers of the first culdsac party on our road we also become inundated with produce from our neightbours - we had an abundance of couregetts and they had lemons, plums ect and I would come home from work to find them in brown paper bags in my mail box (luckily it is quite big) - yum - that is neighbour hoods working as they should!
