Eat more greens
PLEDGE: Eat more greens
Meat and dairy farming is resource-intensive and a huge contributor to greenhouse gases, particularly methane.
Eating more greens and less meat helps the climate and is better for your health. Organic farming practices incorporate organic waste back into the soil, increasing the carbon in the soil and reducing emissions.

eat 'em up
...not to mention that greens taste good and make you feel GREAT!
...especially home-grown
...especially home-grown greens!
You don't need a lot of space - lettuces can be grown in pots on the window-sills.
I love working in the garden with my flatmates, and the kids. We all get a lot of satisfaction out of it, and it's one less trip to the super-market too.
Appartment dwellers can grow food too....
in boxes on the balcony or out the window, if your apartment building is strict on that try and find a local community garden, they are usually looking for keen beans to help out and you can then harvest a huge variety of food!
not just greens
veges come in heaps of colours! and they taste good! this pledge is an easy one :)
