Bucket in the Shower

Im a new zealander living in melbourne, australia for a little while and adjusting to strict water restrictions was required on the first night i arrived. It took a while to sink in that i really had to consider what i was using, or not using when i turned the tap on.
I have become so much more wary of simply turning the tap on slowly when rinsing a plate instead of absentmindedly having it full throttle. Or better still putting the plug in the sink before rinsing dishes.
Likewise in the shower it really is incredible how much water you use! I challenge you to try it, have a shower with a bucket - yeah sounds odd - but you will soon see how quickly the bucket fills up. In a two minute shower you can easily fill a bucket half way.
You can use this water in your washing machine/toilet, on the lawn or in the garden (be careful if you use any chemicals while you wash that they are environmentally friendly).
