Have a personalised glass for every member of the household - everyone knows which is their glass, so you don't need to get a fresh glass out of the cupboard every time you want a drink.

You can do this for breakfast bowls - as they are easily rinsed, and coffee mugs too.
I have thought about doing
I have thought about doing this so many times...some days all our glasses end up in the dishwasher and there's is only 4 of us!..the other solution..only have as many glasses in the cupboard as there are people in the house!
