In another thread I posted how I hate plastic bags. Here are some ideas to make your own re usable bags

Old pair of jeans - cut off the legs to make cute bags for your wine shopping. measure the height of wine bottle.Make the bag just for that height. You can make two compartment so that they sit tight. jean legs also make good bags for carrying extra shoes while traveling.

Old pillowcases and sheets make good all purpose bags. Shirt sleeves cut off make good shoe/slipper bags. You can mix & match plain fabric with some printed or gingham scraps to come up with some cute designs. Make shoulder bags out of old curtains.

Get some fabric scraps from Spotlight type shops and get creative to make some stunning bags. A couple of large buttons or felt flowers and you have a chic designer bag to take shopping!
