If you get a newspaper delivered...check if you can read it online instead and cancel it. Most newspapers have an online version now and its much quicker to read. If this idea is alien to you perhaps you could start sharing the newspaper with others who live close by. One subscription to rule them all!.

what would be really great would be if you could only unsubscribe to parts of the newpaper, the bits you don't read like auto or careers or sport or fashion. look at which sections you read reguarly. The most useful parts i find are the front page, the fluffy weekend sections and the general fluffy sections. (i like the fluff)
are there any newspapers that provide this service?

Thats true....I don't read the sports section or the realestate...mostly the fluff as well. I think in a few years newspapers will just cease to exist and it will all go online.

No, I think people will always love browsing over the pages over toast and coffee and tea. What would be good is if they were printed on recycled paper! I myself couldn't live without the paper over my scrambled eggs and orange juice.
