Why stop at small. Get a big
Why stop at small. Get a big one and astound everyone with how big your bike trailer is...
You actually LIKE bike lanes?
Actually, there's a lot of debate about the safety of bike lanes- Personally, I don't generally like them, although I have seen situations where they do make for a safer ride. The problem is, motorists don't tend to pay attention, and when you're in the bike lane they don't see you- and at intersections, drivers don't check bike lanes, so you cross through traffic that isn't expecting you. (this is also why we don't ride on sidewalks) I usually ride in the right tire path of the road, so cars see me, and veer off toward the edge to let cars pass as they come up behind me. Or, if the lanes are narrow and the traffic is heavy, I'll ride in the LEFT tire path, so cars have to wait until they can get in the other lane to pass, rather than trying to squeeze between me and oncoming traffic with a half inch of clearance. Don't take this the wrong way, though- I DO try to be courteous and let folks pass as quickly as possible, but at the same time, I'd rather have someone else pissed off than to have myself run over...
