Mine makes a token gesture and recycles cardboard and paper and that's it.
Mountains of polystyrene go out in the bin everyday (despite the option of proper cups being provided)not to mention empty milk bottles.
I shudder to think how much wastage goes on in our cafeteria.
All 400 or so of us get our payslips in an envelope every fortnight despite the fact that 60% of us are computerised and should be able to just get them via email.
Can anyone tell a better story? Have you helped change the habits of your workplace?
I can at least say I have cleaned up the office I work in and take home our kitchen recycling to put out in my home bin.

We try!!
I work in a pharmacy we recycle paper, cardboard and bubble wrap and i have just managed to get our boss to refill his ink cartridges instead of buying new ones an ink cartridge take 450 years to break down and 4 litres of oil for each one!!! i just looked at prices of refilling compared wif buying new ones its cheaper to refill so my boss went for it haha probably wouldnt hav it if cost him more of course!!
