earth hour

The grass is getting greener

Im excited because Im becoming more green each week!
In social studdies at school we are learning all about managing our recources and global warming. We are going to start working on climate change projects and I am hopefully gonna ace mine because I have lots of ideas of how we can all make an effort to become more eco friendly.
Im doing earth hour tonight and we are going to light the house with candles YAY!
It feels really good to know that I am doing my best to become more energy efficient and all that kind of stuff!

Keep it green!

Earth Hour

What is Earth Hour?

It started with a question: How can we inspire people to take action on climate change?

The answer: Ask the people of Sydney to turn off their lights for one hour.

On 31 March 2007, 2.2 million people and 2100 Sydney businesses turned off their lights for one hour - Earth Hour. This massive collective effort reduced Sydney's energy consumption by 10.2% for one hour, which is the equivalent effect of taking 48,000 cars off the road for one hour. It's happening again and this time it's going global. You can sign up on my page right now
