Action on Fossil Fools Day - 1st April

There are lots of great opportunities to show our concern about our greenhouse gas emissions, and our appetite for strong action on climate.

The Global Day of action on Dec 8th last year was a good example of how we call all be organising actions and events in our communities.

There are three more days of action in the pipeline, which have been called by Rising Tide. Info is below.

Who here in Aotearoa is keen to get involved in any or all of these? Lets start the discussion...!

target key polluting corporations and destructive buisnesses.

first ask them to cease from harmful activities. if they do not change engage in creative protests.
if this doesnt get very far ask your friends and family to join and start a campaign.

a great example is marsden B being stopped. A good new one would be to shut down Huntly, the coal fired power station. Others currently incluse KASM who is against seabed mining andthere are great climate campaigning groups overseas such as rising tide in australia
britain and australia.
