The campaign is fantastic! But the West Coast, South Island needs this tour to visit - there are A LOT of people on the coast who don't know what is going on and what the rest of the country is doing about the Climit Crisis, I love living there and i'd love to see more proactive education from Greenpeace and the Government for the people who live there. Please don't miss us out!!!

A fairly sleepy Saturday but even so we had a steady stream of visitors keen to check out the displays and sit down in the solar web centre. Once again we’ve signed up a bunch of new members on the website so welcome to you all!

On the road - Invercargill to Dunedin

It’s not a large distance but neither is the bus a fast one so we’re getting a good view of the countryside.

A day in Invercargill

Talking to radio Southland: Jo and Mal off the bus talking to Radio Southland about Be The ChangeTalking to radio Southland: Jo and Mal off the bus talking to Radio Southland about Be The ChangeToday was our first open day in Invercargill but before setting up we started with a visit to Southland Radio and a chat on air with Chris Diack. He runs a network of community radio stations which even extends as far as the North Shore in Auckland and streams to the web via www.theflea.co.nz ...

Name the bus

Our poor old bus is nameless and that just won't do. It's got a nice new coat of paint, it's all kitted out with solar gear and a wireless web centre but so far we're just calling it the bus.

So before we start the tour in Bluff we need a name.

In the spirit of the Be The Change community we want you to suggest names and vote on the final name.

You can submit your suggestions here now.

The bus tour schedule

Bus scheduleBus scheduleWe're hitting the road and we're coming to a town near you!

The Climate Rescue Team is taking to to road in the Be The Change bus. We're touring the country from Bluff to the Bay of Islands talking about the campaign.

So far the bus doesn't have a name and we're taking suggestions so please submit your idea here. The winning idea (as determined by the bus crew) will become the official affectionate bus name!
