The Be The Change Bus: People viewing the Climate Rescue Bus exhibition outside Auckland Museum today for the launch of the Be The Change Campaign. (c) Greenpeace/Marple 2007 NOT FOR ARCHIVE OR RESALE - OK FOR ONLINE REPRODUCTIONAt midday today we had a press conference on the steps of the Auckland museum to launch the Be The Change coalition - and we're off to a good start.
The sun was shining, the crowds came out and our tour bus got there just in the nick of time.
Our team of people working on converting an old school bus into the Be The Change tour bus had their work cut out for them. But, not withstanding a few late nights and long days, the bus looks great!
Francesca Price, host of TV3's "Wasted" was MC. She said she's been lucky enough through her work to have meet people all over New Zealand who're trying to make a difference and do their bit to combat climate change. People like Conor Roberts and his CRAG group.
Along with the Executive directors of Greenpeace Oxfam and Forest & Bird actress Robyn Malcolm also spoke about personal efforts she's made to reduce her contribution to the problem of climate change: "We are all able to do something. Sometimes the problem seems so big it feels hopeless, but if you take steps toward understanding the problem you see that even the small things can make a difference. It doesn't matter how busy life gets, it is possible for all of us to help keep this planet healthy for our children."

I wish you'd launched this
I wish you'd launched this on saturday, when most people were not at work. I had to miss it because of work commitments (and I had all my bulbs ready to swap too!).
