On Saturday my pro life neighbours bitterly disappointed me by engaging in the fireworks celebration. If they new the history of Guy Fawkes they may have though twice but I was gutted to see these people lighting firework after firework despite the fact they owned pets. Not only was the noise pollution an annoyance to the animals nearby but the clouds of chemical filled smoke floated across the sky effecting air purity and nature. Shame on those who support a clean New Zealand yet involve themselves with such activities.
